DANNY BOY (Dicxcon) £4.50 2000 A new addition last year to the patio collection. This one is a rusty orange and the quantity of bloom is enough to make anyone break into song--well it does if you're Irish and have had a few drinks. Seriously, it's highly recommended!

DICK'S DELIGHT (Dicwhistle) £4.50 1999 Named in honour of Dick Balfour, rosarian and Past President of the Royal National Rose Society. This is a variation in the patio classification as it has a spreading habit, so we call it a patio carpet. It has small deep pink double blooms which smother the plant. Foliage is tiny. Disease resistance is excellent!

GENTLE TOUCH (Diclulu) £4.50 1986 An HT in miniature; pale pink perfectly formed blooms open quite quickly, but as the flowering habit is almost as fast, there is always a pleasing display of colour. Rose of The Year for 1986.

GEORGE BEST (Dichimanher) New for 2007! Named in honour of the late, great footballer this is, quite naturally, red in colour. Borne in clusters of eight to twenty, the deep red buds gradually lighten in shade to finish as a pinkish red. The small to medium size blooms are very abundant. It is a low growing and bushy plant with dense small, mid- to dark green glossy foliage. Can be planted in large tubs as well as in the ground. We are happy to name a rose for our much admired fellow countryman and a donation of £5 from every plant sold will be made to the George Best Foundation.

ROCKABYE BABY (Dicdwarf) £4.50
2005 This deep yellow Patio variety maintains its colour from bud to old flower, and the blooms which are very full petalled clean well. Their spacing is such that there is no crowding of the plant. Low-growing at around 60 cm, and while it has a bushy habit, the plant remains neat and compact. Dense, dark green glossy foliage. A good variety for growing in a tub.
