BADMINTON GIRL (Dicfiesta)
Coral pink double blooms, borne in clusters of five, are carried on a low growing and bushy plant. Foliage is mid-green, glossy and of medium size. This healthy variety blooms quite early and has a good scent. This variety is sold exclusively by ourselves and has been named to celebrate the 150th anniversary of Badminton School in Westbury-on-Trim, Bristol.

GEORGE BEST (Dichimanher)
Named in honour of the late, great footballer this is, quite naturally, red in colour. Borne in clusters of eight to twenty, the deep red buds gradually lighten in shade to finish as a pinkish red. The small to medium size blooms are very abundant. It is a low growing and bushy plant with dense small, mid- to dark green glossy foliage. Can be planted in large tubs as well as in the ground. We are happy to name a rose for our much admired fellow countryman and a donation of £5 from every plant sold will be made to the George Best Foundation.

HOMETOWN ARDS (Dichimanher)
This deep cream/buff coloured variety has medium-sized double flowers which are carried in a spray pattern of up to eighteen blooms and have a good resistance to rain. A tall, upright plant, it is vigorous and sturdy with very good disease resistance. Foliage is dense, dark green and glossy. Height and spread are approximately 115 cm x 65 cm. This variety was named by Ards Borough Council to celebrate the 400th anniversary of our home-town and is sold exclusively by us.

LIGHT FANTASTIC (Dicgottago)
Masses of lemon/cream "old English" type blooms are beautifully contrasted by dense, glossy, mid-green foliage. The blooms are very full and are abundant throughout the flowering period. The plant is of medium height and has a very bushy habit. Disease resistance is excellent. Sadly, there is just a very light scent.

VANILLA TWIST (Dicghost)
Very full, rosette type blooms which have a prominent pinkish red flush on the outside petals of the bud, finishing to pure white. The duration of the flowers is long. Foliage is dense, glossy and mid-green. Height is average at around 100 cm and habit is upright to bushy. Disease resistance is very good.

WILD ROVER (Dichirap)
A wonderful colour of deep purple in the bud, opening to a lighter shade and fading to mauve in the old flowers. The blooms are semi-double having fourteen petals, and have a good scent. Foliage is dense, semi-glossy and light to mid-green. While we have classified this as a Floribunda - probably Flori-Shrub is a better description - this is a tall plant with climbing tendencies and could well be grown against a wall or fence, but don't expect it to achieve a great height, probably a maximum of just under two metres.
